The Detroit Princess, formerly known as the Players Riverboat Casino II, was built in Louisiana in 1993 as a gambling boat. After years as a casino, the Riverboat Casino was being scrapped of its parts and d dissembled. In 2004, the boat was resold and made the trip from Louisiana to Detroit where it was renovated and prepared to operate as a restaurant.
